Halcyon Farm B&B is 5 miles south of Amsterdam (exit 27 off I-90), in Historic Mill Point along the Schoharie Creek. The 5,000 sq foot Federal brick home, once a tavern, was built from 1790 to 1819 and is surrounded by 300 acres of alfalfa and timothy which are used to produce high quality horse hay. Guests are welcome to tour the farm and watch the haying on a sunny summer afternoon.

Our generous Agritourism grant enabled us to add two more spacious bathrooms for a total of five beautiful guest bedrooms each with a lovely private bathroom.

Whether you are attending a function in the area, in need of a rigorous hike or quiet get away, biking the nearby Erie Canal, or traveling New York State on the Throughway, we are the perfect choice for a peaceful nights rest and a scrumptious breakfast in the morning.
